CRAZINESS, GUYS! Aniko and Nabiki and some other people I don't know and I all tromped up to the North and ran around and did things and fought stuff! Like skeletons. Lots of skeletons.


Trion still looks like a moron.

OH. STARLIGHT FESTIVAL STARTS VERY SOON! OMGYAY.

I was actually a thief-y-type person! o.O; I helped Luto Mewrilah and Miledo-Shiraddo steal some gold from some jerk-guy in Bastok! ...Don't tell!

See, the jerk-guy asked me to chase away some guy who was hanging out the Goddess Temple (but it's public space! And the only temple in the city!) in the Metalworks, but when I got there to look around, Miledo-Shiraddo showed up! It was actually kinda fun, but I was very nervous that one of the guards in the area was gonna catch on to us and throw us all into jail. x.x

Anyway, they got their gold and the jerk-guy was annoyed, but since the guy was gone, he gave me a reward, anyway. I got a Key Ring Belt!

I feel oddly Not Guilty about the whole thing.



Also, Nabiki and I went and got a bunch of items for the guy in the Tenshodo and he gave us passes so we can get on the new boats in Mhaura! hee~

So now I am waiting for Nabiki to be ready to go, 'cause, you know, Nabi's my friend! So we should go together! ^_^

'Specially since Nabiki is like the only person I can do new things with, since everyone else has either done it all already or has disappeared.


...And, um, hey, on that note, does anyone know what happened to Nehima? I haven't seen her in a very long time, so I'm a little worried.

Partied a little the other day. We killed crawlers. In the crawlers nest. Thrilling? Before that, though, I was farming stuff in Tahrongi, so I made a little gil. ^^

Party was actually a little crazy. We kept getting links on the things (we weren't in a real good place, really), and once, nearly the entire party was murdered by three crawlers all at one. Not entirely sure how we actually managed to survive that. Also, a doom scorpion was running around in the main area. That was kind of freaky, because I kept thinking it was gonna COME FOR US! See, it ran literally right through our group chasing someone, so I thought it'd be coming back, but it never did. So. I dunno.


Then Crytuf and I wasted a loooong time killing crazy Cardians in the outer Horutoto (probably not spelled right XD) Ruins. We adopted one as a pet for a while, too. He was very cute. ^^ Silly Two of Cups. ^^ ♥


So, yeah. Was fun. ^^

...I woke up in a strange place I've never seen before. But that vortex in the dunes? I found it's match, because there was one there and when I got close to it I somehow ended up back in Valkurm.

I'll talk about it now. ^^ A few days ago, I was in a party that tried to complete Promyvion-Holla. We had a good set-up: warrior, warrior, ranger, ranger, white mage, black mage. We got to the top of the tower without any deaths, and even got the top monster down to almost dead when our poison potions wore off. The thing has an area-sleep attack which covers basically the entire room. Well, we all ended up dead from that after staying asleep on our feet for a good five minutes. We couldn't get in the last blow or so needed to kill him. It was depressing. We decided to try again the next night.

So, night comes, and our white mage hasn't shown up. Nabiki, I knew, needed Holla, so I got her to join us. We all arrived and entered Promyvion, only to find Aniko had managed to forget her weapon. She goes back into La Theine... finally gets to Jeuno and gets her weapon, then tries to get a tele back to Holla. The white mage brought her to Mea, instead. She then wouldn't tell us who the white mage was, so now I'm afraid to try and get a tele. I don't have enough gil to waste it like that... Though, to be honest, I wonder if she was offering 500G. The base price has risen to 1k, but a lot of people won't accept it and still try to get one for 500. Since the price everything else has risen, I think it's only fair that the white mages are given more for teleporting services. I mean, people seem to think it's the job of the mages to teleport them around the world, but it's not.

Besides. You are the ones placing the scrolls the mages need on the Auction House for ridiculous amounts of gil. Then you complain because the mages don't have the spell? Grow up. Just because yours is the only scroll on auction is no excuse for you to raise the price, and certainly not by a million - or more - gil! Annoying brats. ....Wow, tangent.

Anyway, we all finally get together and head up. We were aggro'd by a Weeper on the third floor, and one of the two rangers and I were both knocked out by it. The Notorious Monster, who had blocked our path the day before, was there still, and we had to wait a long time for him to move so we could reach the Memory Receptacle. We were at least lucky in respect to the MRs, because every one we killed revealed the path ahead. Sometimes you have to kill two or three before finding the correct one.

On the fourth floor, Aniko was killed, and the rest if us ran crazy-like for the tower's entrance, since someone else had engaged it (I don't know who), so when it died, it came after us. We all made it without further incident, though, and recovered Ani. We healed up in the room, then headed into the battle. This time, we all had three poison potions instead of just one or two, and no animas, but we ended up not needing them. It went down quickly, and I finally completed a Promyvion! ^_^ Holla is supposed to be the hardest of the three, so hopefully I'll have better luck with Dem next time I try it. Nabiki wants me to set up a Mea run, but I said I wasn't going to... It's way too much of a hassle, and I don't think she's ever set one up. I told her to do it...

But, yay! Two more, and maybe I'll finally understand what's going on!

Heehee! ^^ Pastey has a really strong friend who was willing to do a Magicite run (or three). So, one amazing black mage took five of us through several Instant Death areas. No one even got hurt, much. I got rank 5! ^_^ To celebrate, I rode the airship back home to San d'Oria, since I needed to be there anyway. The King had been attacked! It wasn't anything serious, I guess... I don't know. Vana'diel is just becoming weirder and weirder every day.

...Erm, yeah. In theory, I'll have another Promyvion-Dem run to whine about soon. We'll probably fail again. X.x ...Our white mage had better show up this time. Grah. Nothing like a quest that never even gets off the ground and all...

That was what happened today. Many times. Four knock outs on my count, three for all but one other member of my party. Yeah, Nabiki only had two. But that's a good thing.

...Flee-Suicide was probably one of the most terrifying things I've ever done...

You never know if the thing's going to move in and finish you off or simply move on, since you're no longer a threat of any kind.

YAY!

Nabiki helped me climb the tower - up and up and up we went (and I'm very broke from buying the prism powders and silent oils *weep*). Then we joined with a white mage and a warrior (also climbing Delkfutt's Tower) and so all the money I threw down was waaaasted.... This makes me weep. But then I remember that I made it to the top without dying (although I came very, very close once >.>) and am rank 4 and then I stop weeping, because rank 4 is awesome.


Mostly because it's one away from rank 5 and not because it actually lets me do anything.

Though I'd like to add that I must have set the record for number of Mog House location changes (about 24) and trips between San d'Oria and Jeuno (12 - that's there and back trips, not just one way) in the past 24 hours. Honestly. If I never ride a chocobo again... >.>


Except I kinda have to if I ever want to leave Jeuno for someplace other than Kazham.
