Since I am apparently going back and forth between now and twenty years ago - but can still use this for whatever reason - I am going to keep track of my past adventures here!


Of course, I'll have to update this after I get back to here again, since in the past this log doesn't exist then.



TIME TRAVEL IS CONFUSING.


Past: First time through the Maw.

Present: I come back through the maw!

Past: Nabi, Ani, and I go to Windurst.

Past: VERIH PASHAI. And Bastok, which is infinitely less interesting.

Past: SERIOUSLY HOW DID WE NOT LOSE

Past: La Vaule/Davoi/whatever it is, it burns

Through nothing short of a miracle, I caught up with Nabiki in Jugner! We, uh. We couldn't get through Jugner on account of it being a giant Orc stronghold and all. I didn't know they had a massive wall throughout the entire place!

But fortunately, there is another area that we cut through! It was very pretty! I wonder what happened to it. Something to look into. Maybe it blew up, I dunno.


So we made it to San d'Oria - and that was disorienting, let me tell you? We exited through Jugner on the far side of the lake - without swimming across or anything, before you ask! - and found ourselves in East Ronfaure instead of King Ranperre's Tomb like we'd been expecting.


Uh... made it to town despite everything and ended up being recruited... went out and collected scrap parts! From, er, an early version of an airship, would be my guess. This is so weird.


MY MOOGLE WAS IN THE BARRACKS. WHAT. HOW?


Er, anyway, I was poking around Ronfaure (there is no West Ronfaure!) and found another one of those maws and... whoo!

I knew I was back right away. The lack of giant craters everywhere was a bit of a giveaway.


HOORAY!


But now I am supposed to go make an idiot of myself for the Dancer Troupe person thing. I honestly do not know why I am doing this.

GRAURGH GUYS SERIOUSLY HOW DID WE NOT COMPLETELY LOSE THE CRYSTAL WAR?


Bastok: HAS LOST EVERYTHING AND THE TOWN IS UNDER ATTACK.

San d'Oria and Windurst: BARELY HOLDING THEIR OWN.

FNNNRRRRRG They can't change the past, right, right, I just, oh, augh, I am so worried and gah stressed. Possibly I need to get back to the present so I can not worry about this for a half a minute.

Nabi and Ani and I went Orc hunting! Sort of. We killed a huge Orc, anyway!

In the past, I mean.


And San d'Oria seemed pretty done with us for the time being, so we decided to check out some of the other locations known to have those maws and also to head to Windurst. It didn't have to be Windurst - we could've gone to Bastok - but it was!

Though we did a pit stop at Garlaige, since they have maps for the inlet there. I HAS A MAP. \o.o/


And then we headed for Windurst! Tahrongi Canyon's inaccessible - like La Theine. Well, we could probably get to La Theine, maybe? I haven't tried! You don't know how many Orcs patrol that area of Jugner. It's terrifying. So I'm staying away from there for now.

No, instead, we passed through a fort! It had a Tarutaru name, so it rhymed, but I can't remember it, because Taru names are really weird and all!


Windurst is a wreck, guys. Seriously, there are craters in the town, or at last in the Waters district. We can't get into anywhere else, so I don't know how bad it is through there. Probably terrible.

Makes me a little proud to be San d'Orian. Elvaan higher-ups are generally pretty snobby, at least to outsiders and others that they don't see any reason to respect, but they generally keep themselves on top of things. Too proud not to!

Speaking of Elvaan, Excenmille was a weirdo when he was younger.


Of course, Windurst got thoroughly hammered in the war - we all know that! But it's, er. Different to see the damage first-hand, I guess.


BEING IN THE PAST IS STILL REALLY WEIRD. But at least it's pretty hard to forget.


Oh. There's that comet in the sky. It's pretty, but... weird.


And I fell into the Batallia maw again and had another weird dream! Except I guess they're not really dreams, they just feel like them. Kihara, did you learn to speak listening to Cait Sith? You've got similar vocal mannerisms...
