hisi_mehlotaNabiki was nice and helped me today. Yay!
Aniko... is disaster-prone. She got hurt... many times today.
Anyway, once, after she passed out, before Nabiki could start revive on her, she was brought back home (darn, she told them to respond fast), so Nabiki and I stood around waiting for her... Well, she finally came back, and we marched off toward La Theine. Nabiki needed to stop for a minute, and, basically, I got ahead of the group, so I waited. I'm used to being able to sense monsters around me, but I was scanning the area visually (what a concept!) and passed over a forest hare that looked a little weird. It was Jaggedy-Eared Jack!! I started yelling at Nabiki to get over here, because it was Jack!! She tells me to go ahead and start fighting him (weak monk... notorious monster... fear.....) so I did. She comes running over and throws a bunch of cures on me, because I was quite close to being dead. Then I prepared to get away so she could snag it. Just as I'm about to run off, a Tarutaru comes running up, looks me over, and stops dead. Well, great, now I can't stop, because the taru would probably get it. Long story short, I managed to win the fight but got no drop. *siiiigh* Oh well. It was fun, anyway. Nabiki was at least happy that we didn't lose the kill.
Also, while we were in La Theine, Battering Rams wandered right past us, not once, but twice! Scary! Good thing Nabiki can kill those suckers...
