I wasn't planning on staying in San d'Oria - a quick run-in, run-out kinda thing (and I'm getting incredibly sick of getting to Jeuno and chocoboing back to San d'Oria or Bastok and there and back and there and back and there and back again) but then I got asked if I would like to join the alliance, and I figured, since I had a while, why not? So I went, and I got there, and then I realized, wait... I forgot a weapon. Yes, moron that I am, I had armor and no weapon. So, yeah. Instant Warp back to my homepoint (which I forgot was in JEUNO, ugh), got a dagger, and chocobo'd myself back to Ordelle's... which is almost San d'Oria, but not quite.
Hey, I got gil, and gil is good, so I'm not complaining.
But I need the mission to climb the tower in Qufim. But I don't have the rank points. So I give the stupid guard all of my crystals (and weep over the lost gil) and still don't have enough... So I check the next mission, which requires getting a crystal bass... I check the Auction House, and they're going fairly cheap, so I buy one. When I go to trade it to the guard, he yells at me to go see the King or... whoever. My, but I'm annoyed at him now. *glareglareglare*
*EDIT - Not the King. I'm supposed to see the guard leader about some thieves breaking in. Stupid thieves. What amuses me about this is that... I'm a thief... So they asked a thief to help with the thieves... Them Elvaan royalty, man, I dunno sometimes... *rolls eyes*
