Norg

Aniko and her friend ( - significant other - person - thing) went to Norg a few days ago for "who knows why." ...Today, she decided to take me there (wanderlust strikes me again and I whine about wanting to see new areas). However, she's directionally impaired. ...We spent... a long time chocoboing around Yuhtunga, while she tried to figure out how to us down to the waterfall.

Then she died, so we went to Qufim for a while. Then we went back. ...This time, we actually found the entrance to Sea Serpant's Grotto (apparently, I'd been standing almost on top of it and she'd thought I was in the completely wrong area. This made me somewhat smug for a while). Well, inside the grotto, we didn't get far before a Sahagin aggro'd her. So she ran back to the zone while I snuck on past it. She enters and tries again. Oh, look! Sahagin aggro! Zone! Rinse. Repeat. Multiple times. After a while, I gave up and went on ahead, with the highly detailed instructions: just keep going right. Yep, hit a door. Thanks to my paranoid, thief-ly instincts, I knew not to open the door without applying sneak oil (since everything there aggro's by sound), and I proceeded to run without incident to Norg.


Aniko has since died in the grotto twice and has, I think, given up on ever making it back to Norg.


...I think someone wants to train me in the ways of the Samurai. I don't know why.
